Samsung Galaxy 7 SPRINT MIPI DEVICE FAIL
No service (No signal) of models above mentioned can be caused by FEMid defect
- Check the below items to verify the root cause whether FEMid component or not.
Enter Dial mode > Input *#0011# > Service Mode
1) MIPI DEVICE FAIL
2) DEVICE MID=0x20c, PID=0x008
settings
activate this phone
vol- vol- vol+
vol+ vol+ vol- [shows the service mode]
testmode->settinginfo->setting->system->nv_backup_test->efs_clear&restore
reboot
I tested it only in sprint handsets, dont know others, android 7 does not shows this service menu, you need to downgrade to 6 within the same rollback bit protection.
Hope it helps.
if its showing 2 options
exist a golden backup
backup type = secure_hw
